With over 45 years of expertise in property valuation across the government and banking sectors, Mr. Wickremathilleke is a highly respected authority in the field. He began his career at the Government Valuation Department (1970–1983) and later led the Valuation Department at the State Mortgage & Investment Bank (1983–2005), overseeing a team of 30 qualified valuers. He also served as an Acquiring Officer for the Mahaweli Economic Authority. Post-retirement, he was appointed as a Valuer Member of the Sri Lanka Acquisition Compensation Board of Review and now operates independently, offering valuation and project appraisal services for banks and financial institutions across Sri Lanka.
